In addition, an upcoming Hatch Day event has been officially announced for later this month, promising even more fun and surprises for players.

The event will run from Monday, December 30, 2024, at 10 a.m. until Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 8 p.m. local time and featured themed Pokémon spawns, raids and bonuses!

Charged Embers Hatch Day details
Mark your calendars for an exciting event happening on Sunday, December 29, 2024! From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Trainers will have an increased chance of hatching Elekid and Magby from 2 km Eggs during this special window.
In addition to the improved hatch rates, players can also enjoy a variety of in-game bonuses available exclusively during the event hours. That’s not all—extended bonuses will remain active throughout the entire weekend, offering even more rewards and opportunities for Trainers to make the most of this event.
Event bonuses
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs
- Increased chance of hatching Shiny Elekid and Shiny Magby
- Increased chance of receiving 2 km Eggs from spinning PokéStops
Extended event bonuses
Not limited to the 3-hour Hatch Day event window, these bonuses will be active from Friday, December 27, at 10 a.m. until Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 5 p.m. local time.
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during this time
